Great breakfast, no matter eggs or pancake... Banana French Toast is wonderful, but I don't like standing in queen intruding those who are having breakfast, narrow walkway...

We were in town for the marathon like we are every year. We enjoy trying someplace different every time. We identified the paramount and walked from Cambridge to check it out. My wife was running the marathon so I had the boys who were both hungry. I got one of them seated as his leg was hurting and took the... More

Yes, the lineup is large, but the food, in my opinion, did not deliver above an average breakfast diner that you could just walk into and get a table in any other city. we had a feta and spinach omelette and the huevos rancheros and both were just bland examples of each.

Last night got on trip advisor and found this spot. We truly enjoyed the dinner we had. A little bit of a wait as the place is small but worth the wait. Everyone from the wife to the boys /14,18) and myself enjoyed it . If in the area I highly recommend it MM

Classic Beacon Hill must do. Expect to wait. Cannot sit until you order and they cook your food. Delicious brunch. French Toast, omelette and even protein bowls.

Every time I go by there is a line out the door and onto the sidewalk. I've been there once and the food is OK, but I just think it's overrated. Try it if you're in the area and see what you think.

We were staying in Beacon Hill and saw The Paramount was recommended by our host for breakfast. The Paramount has been open since the late 1930s and has service down to a T. First you line up to order, then get seated and eat. The eggs and waffles were good. This place can't be beat.

Had breakfast here our second morning in Boston...the line thing was weird, but totally worked! It was neat to watch them make your food and then eating your food in front of people waiting to order was different, but we struck up some conversations and met new people!! The wife had the mushroom omelette and I had the western-both delicious!... More

The people are made to cue then order and by a miracle the tables turn as people feel obligated to leave almost while still chewing, but they appreciate the need for the next diners to enjoy the great food. The servers and cooks work like clockwork, totally unflappable, while we were eating a group of 20 students came in and... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
