Nice restaurant with a big bar and lots of tables near Quincy Market. Typical pub type menu with delicious burgers. The service was good, place was bright and clean and the food delish.

First time at Hard Rock Boston. Funny and friendly staff. Store is small and stock (for what we were looking for) was limited. Had an appetizer and cocktail at the bar and, again, funny and friendly staff. Food was good; drinks were excellent!

We are Hard Rock Cafe groupies. We've been to about 30 different locations in country and out. What makes a visit for me is a nice conversation with someone working there who is passionate about their job, rock, people and or their company. Chris took the time to talk to us as we came into the rock shop and we... More

The only reason I went here was to buy t-shirt and shot glass as my collector's items. The restaurant is standard Hard Rock Cafe. I didn't order the food and drinks.

"IT'S A HARD ROCK" is a good way to describe it- you know what you are getting. It was relatively clean, comfortable and decent service, and the food was middle to a little bit better chain restaurant food. Its a bit expensive, but so are the other sit down restaurants near Quincy market, and at least you know what you... More

Pretty much what you would expect in terms of food and drink. Ambience was slightly flat and music is lacking a bit in 'hard rock'. It is perfectly located if you're visiting Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market or The State House, just don't expect too much from it. For the record, the food was good and lots of it, and the... More

Situated in one of the happening areas of Boston, near Faneuil Hall, this place provides a nice, relaxing place for music aficionados and gourmets alike. First off, the service staff is very friendly, provide personalized service, manage regulars and new guests alike, and provide interesting conversation. They are well-knowledgeable about food and music alike, come and chat to inquire about... More

I'm a fan of the HRC and this one was very good. Service was friendly and quick. The Waiter helped us out with all our touristy questions. Gift shop was well stocked. Interesting Rock memorabilia with a focus on Boston rockers and rock bands. The location is right next to Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall area. Lots of cabs around. If you're... More

The restaurant was quiet when we visited so the atmosphere was fairly muted, however the bar tender was quite the character and the servers were excellent. The food wasn't great but but we weren't expecting much anyway and the prices are reasonable for what they offer.

We were killing time while waiting to pick up family from Logan airport on a Monday evening so we we decided to eat at the Boston Hard Rock Cafe. It was a December Monday night so the restaurant was not crowded at all. Staff was very friendly and we were seated right away. This Hard Rock is a little more... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
