Located not to far from Quincy square and Paul Revere's church. While visiting the area and if Italian food is on your mind this is the place to stop. Waiters/Waitresses very courteous and attentive. Food is fantastic. It is a little more expensive then most but well worth it. This place also makes their own breads and has a catering... More

First visit to Bricco Ristorante last weekend. From our drinks at the bar to our dinner - everything was exceptional. Our server Emilio went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We were never rushed and felt well taken care of. We're looking forward to a return trip.

I took my husband to Bricco for his birthday. We had wanted to go for a while and had been to Bricco's great bakery and to its salumeteria -- BOTH OUT OF THIS WORLD. The restaurant exceeded our expectations -- from fine italian food to service, presentation and attention to detail. I loved the lighting and was particularly impressed with... More

I took My husband to Bricco to celebrate his birthday. We had visited their fantastic bakery and store but this was our first time at the restaurant itself. It was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Amazing food, Great service( ask for Dragana)... loved the roasted garlic spread and my broken negroni from the bar. Timing of... More

We ate at Bricco last night in the North End of Boston. The food was amazing....all the pasta is homemade and handcut. Our waiter, Emilio, was terrific! He made recommendations off the menu that were exactly what we had hoped for. We skipped dessert because we wanted to try a local pastry shop and he pointed us toward the perfect... More

My wife and I went for an early dinner on a Saturday evening prior to the Bruins game. We had a reservation so no waiting. We ordered the eggplant as an appetizer and it was delicious. I would have been happy with that as my meal. My wife got the halibut and I had the evening special, which was a... More

This is a great place to eat for lunch or dinner. I usually stop in for a late lunch.. The sandwiches here are of good size and loaded with fresh ingredients. The bread that houses your victuals is the best I have ever had. These sandwiches are what Bricco's is most noted for.. $7.95 for a well packed deli sandwich.... More

Being new in town, I asked my concierge for a recommendation as I fancied a steak. This is where I was directed. I was initially sceptical, think my there would be a kick-back involved, but I was NOT disappointed. The restaurant had a nice buzz to it and a lovely, convivial atmosphere on a cold winter's night. Service was discreet... More

The food is wonderful and worthy of 5 stars! The ambience was undesirably noisy with many drunks shouting. I would have expected the offenders to have been warned by management to lower the volume or leave. The service was superb, flawless really. I would recommend skipping the predictable desserts at Bricco and going next door to Modern Bakery for decadent... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
