We stopped in for lunch after a visit to the New England Aquarium. Our waiter was a pleasant fellow and provided a good suggestion for our lunch. We each had a cup of chowder, which was very good, and shared the Fisherman's Platter which really...More

Used to love this Legal Seafood location. Now it's just tired. Mussels were small; steamers were average. Seafood casserole was extremely dry. Ceiling has damage; decor overall is beat.

This seafood restaurant was near when we arrived in Boston. We had a chopped salad that tasted like it was a day old and bowls of clam chowder. The salad could have been fresher but the chowder was excellent and very creamy. Had great service.

Very fresh and very tasty. It's a warm and friendly atmosphere for family and friend meals, not to mention also good for business lunch.

The lobster bisque was some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was friendly and experienced. However, I was not impressed with the food. The restaurant really reminded me of a nicer Red Lobster.

Having visited Legal Sea Foods at various times over the years when in Boston, I was disappointed in this particular venue. The atmosphere is drab and needs to be lightened up. Drink orders were screwed up..."neat" means no ice, not extra ice. I had the...More

I had steamed clams and a salad with gluten free bread. There are other options, but I don't eat crab, lobster, shrimp, or steak.

Calling all gormands and oenophiles! This Legal Sea Foods' location in Boston's Theater District, surrounded by hotels and nearby Newbury Street, Copley Square and Boston Common, offers an expanded wine menu - 40 pages in all. Just inside you'll see a two-story cascading fountain, the center-piece of the restaurant. Splash down in our dining room or make waves in our comfortable lounge three fathoms below. Our award-winning Wine Cellar, which holds over 10,000 bottles and 800 different labels, is also downstairs. Call ahead and ask our wine steward for a tour. Those who like to 'wine and dine' are in luck because our working Cellar doubles as private dining space for social and corporate functions.
