We are members of the MFA and try to get in to Bravo a few times a year. Nice way to start a visit. As always, the food and service was excellent. The steak and egg variant was very good. The Bloody Mary's were perfect, just the right amount of heat for me (I usually need to add hot sauce).... More

A menu of light treats that's just right for a lunchtime break from museum-going. Fabulous service, too.

Between the four of us, we tried several dishes, and all were excellent. The service was great. The ambiance is incredibly unusual because the tables are actually spread apart!

I and my wife visited the Museum of Fine Art on 30th December 2016, from the UK, as guests of our family living in New Hampshire. The four of us travelled into Boston by train. The visit was to conclude with a meal in Bravo Restaurant at 7.30 pm. Only two other tables were occupied. VERY briefly the visit can... More

Situated within the Museum of Fine Arts you get fantastic lunch, served with a smile. The butternut squash bisque is absolutely fantastic. Also tasted the quesadilla, also delicious. A great break from visiting a fantastic museum.

Meals often reflect the exhibit (country, era, color, etc.) Airy, good service, easy selections so you can resume your viewing. Soup, salads, cheeses, interesting vegetable sides, Not child friendly--the nice cafeteria is more suitable. Discount if a member.

The ambiance is so relaxing after 3 or 4 hours of visiting the museum. A very comfortable restaurant. Not inexpensive but the food was basically worth it. An interesting but not TOO interesting menu.

Spent the morning wandering the wonderful Museum of Fine Arts; first a highlight tour then on to the American wing. We were part of a large group of 35 meeting for lunch at Bravo. I had roasted romanesco, in pistachio pesto. The goat cheese salad looked beautiful. The main course was grilled steak in roasted Vidalia purée with pee wee... More

Bravo is the nicest of the eating venues at the Boston MFA. It is located in a bright, glass-enclosed space on the second floor of the Line Family Wing of contemporary art of the museum. We enjoyed lunch here, after a morning of strolling through current exhibitions. Service was generally good (my wife's soup arrived late, after her main course),... More

I don't know if I loved more the amazing Museum or the amazing food of Bravo. Compliments to the chef and his team. The ambient is great, the service impeccable and the food something else. Scallops melted in my mouth. The harmony (vision and taste) of the ingredients were unbelievable. A pice of art. My party also asked for a... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
