Found this great little restaurant 5 years ago and happy to find out it is still around. Great food and service at very cheap prices- especially considering this area. It's amazing to see the transformation of Newbury street in 2017 when I compare it to...More

Unfortunately both food and service were average. We had expected better having read some of the reviews.

I wish I could bring this restaurant to where I live. Their falafel sandwich was excellent. I ordered it with hummus, and it was large, very tasty, and accompanied by a nice amount of potato chips. The price was very reasonable for what I received....More

It was my spouse that had the lamb kebab plate, and he said he'd never had meat so tough he literately couldn't chew it without hurting his jaw. I tasted it and it was nicely flavored, but he could not finish it because of not...More

Dropped in this place and what a nice surprise. Chicken kabob and rice plate was very good and generous portion. Plain decor but attentive and friendly service.

Many restaurants have come and gone on Newbury and Boylston Streets over the past 26 years... But, Cafe Jaffa remains. A testament to the restaurant's great food, good prices, and friendly staff/owners. The daily specials are a steal - Monday's falafel sandwich, chips, and a...More
