Place is a couple minutes walk from campus. It is a small place with about 7 no frills tables, very casual. My daughter and I both got the lamb shawarma sandwich which was a sizeable meal and with a can of soda is a great value for the price and quality. Service was quicker than what you get at chain... Stopped by here after touring Northeastern and it was so yummy. This is not a fancy place at all but the food was fresh and delicious and the portions were enormous. The sandwiches in pita bread were delicious and the baba ghanoush was excellent. This place is a college kids dream for a hearty and healthy meal for a reasonable... More

Authentic, fresh food. You get a lot of food that is incredibly good. Great local find. I appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant as well. I will go back when I am in town!

I stopped in between classes while at Northeastern. Great quick meal! Very filling and the soda was free with the purchase of a meal. The food was fresh, and very enjoyable. If in the NEU area, definitely worth a visit!

On our first visit, last month, my husband and I did not realize they offer dinners, and we ordered our food in pita bread sandwiches. I am NOT a sandwich fan, so when, as we were leaving, we noticed the "dinner" menu, we made a note to come back - which, yesterday, we did. I ordered a shawarma dinner with... More

The meats and chicken are halal. Sandwiches are huge. The children shawarma was pretty good. Friendly staff. My complaint would be is that when you bite the sandwich, the toppings are to one side from the chicken. So there were rarely any bites that had everything. It was either a bite of chicken or toppings. I guess it needs better... More

Food is fantastic, I split the shawarma dinner with lamb which came with tahini, rice, and two kinds of hummus. Generous portions, quick and friendly staff.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
