Daily regular customer went in on a Saturday morning 9 months pregnant placed an order with my 4 children waiting in the car including a 1 & 2 year old waited a hour for my order. Received 2 sandwiches on a bulky roll when I...asked for croissants which was a $4 up charge. Manager was not willing to refund me the $4 for giving me something I did not ask for and they did not tell me they were out on croissants I found out from bitting in my sandwich and it not tasting right. Because I was not willing to wait for them to make something else after waiting a whole hour she said she could trash the food and refund me they lost a regular customer and my and my children left with no food.More

Delicious food, generous portions, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend. We had breakfast and it far exceeded our expectations. We happened across McKenna's on our way to find a pharmacy, and it was a lucky coincidence. If we are ever back in the area, we...will definitely visit again!More

Went for breakfast and was once again highly satisfied. Each plate of eggs and bacon/hash/sausage came with a mound of delicious home fries and toast. Coffee was continually flowing waithout having to ask, and the shop was full to capacity. Took our 14 month old...there and the staff treated him like a little prince, smiling and talking to him.More

This place is underrated! Couldn’t fault a thing! Traditional American breakfasts done well! I don’t know what herb or spice they use on the home fries but they are lovely! Eggs cooked perfect and bacon crispy! Good service! Thanks!

We found a breakfast place just a short walk from the transit (Savin Hill). The place was packed. After a long wait we were seated. I had the Works, one of their omelets. This place made our day, since the hotel we where staying at...would have charged us double the price for the same meal. Maybe that's the reason the name of the hotel is double tree.More

There was a long wait, which was expected on a Sun morning. We ended up having to sit at the counter. The omelets were both overcooked and dry. My son’s omelet was totally brown. The potatoes were too salty. My husband’s pancakes were tough. The...grill was too hot for cooking eggs & pancakes. I ordered iced tea at a cost of $3.50 and was later told they do not refill for free. Very disappointing breakfast.More

We went on a weekday at 9AM, so we didn't have to wait like I've read. Michelle B was a friendly, attentive waitress and our breakfast was served quickly and hot. We ordered a short stack French toast, single waffle, 2 sides of bacon, and...a medium coffee and our total was 18.74. The waffle and French toast was so good we ALMOST didn't need syrup. Would definitely go back if in the area. Noticed a T stop right there, but we used Uber.More

I had heard about this place from a friend telling me how good it was so I was excited to try it. We had gone there earlier today and after the terrible service that we had received we will never be back. Our waitress was...Samantha P. Our food came out rather quickly because it wasn't too busy. But during the entire duration of our meal we had seen her and two other waitresses consistently staring at our table and giggling to themselves which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We hadn't even taken three bites of our food when I had first come out when another waitress had immediately dropped off the bill to our table. Our waitress never came back to check on how our food was, but to instead asked if the bill was all set while we were still eating. Since we were not ready yet she had to return back to the waitress station to continue the staring and the giggling with the other waitresses. Even though we had seen her go to her other tables to ask how everything was, She had returned yet again to ask if the bill is all set and didn't even offer us boxes to take our food home until we asked her to. It wasnt even busy so uts not like they needed the table immediately. The whole experience was completely uncomfortable and inappropriate. The food was good but because of the in consideration of their waitstaff we will not be returning.More
