We waited about 30 minutes on an early Tuesday evening to be seated. It was worth the wait! I had the eggplant parmigiana which was tender and covered in a light red sauce. My husband had the veal parmigiana and our friend had the linguine with shrimp and scallops in in a pesto sauce. They were all delicious. The service... More

Phenomenal lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels in white wine and garlic (Scampi Sauce). Waited in line at 5:45 pm on a Friday 10 people deep... thankfully only 20 min wait. The food was amazing ..authentic and reasonable! FYI....Cash only.

My brother and I visited Giacomo's restaurant whilst on business in Boston. We thought we'd have an early meal and got there for 17:30, to our surprise there was a 25+ person queue, however I cannot stress how quickly this moves. Within twenty minutes we were in. The restaurant was small and tightly packed but this just added to the... More

We read all the reviews about this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try and it was so worth it. As stated by several reviewers, you will have to stand in line outside as the place is tiny. We arrived around 5:15 on a Monday night and there was already a line. We met the nicest couple... More

Great little Italian spot in the North End. Stopped in for dinner during our first night in Boston. We openly discussed sharing a plate as we really had no means to keep and eat leftovers but somehow ended up ordering two pasta plates. We could have eaten 3 meals! Great simple Italian fare for super reasonable prices when you consider... More

Have to wait especially on weekends, but well worth it. Great food & good portions. Small area & tight eating quarters, but gives the ambiance of Boston. Love it.

A favorite for us but the owner was in a hurry tonight to turn the table. Excellent food. No reservations, no CC...no desert or coffee but worth the wait. Just wish they would slow down.

We never visit Boston without dining at Giacomo's at least twice! Oh who cares that you wait in line, it's a small place, and it's tight quarters!!!!!! The food is absolutely incredible, comes out fast, and is an experience in itself!!! You must dine there! OH MY!!! I am drooling just thinking of Giacomo's! Makes me want to get on... More

Small place, no reservations, great food, Prices are much more reasonable than many others. My friend got the special that had choice of sauce and got pesto, my favorite, on her pasta My only regret was that I had the delicious tuna with incredibly delicious vegetables but was only allowed marinara sauce on my pasta, was not permitted to get... Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
