enjoyed the restaurant food very good it was noisy but still could hear the people we were with. Sat near the kitchen. there is no valet parking which is a problem sometimes in the area. Would go again.

I was looking forward to eating here but found the food good but not excellent and everything was over-priced. Very expensive meal. Service was ok

Ten Tables is one of my favorite spots. It has the cozy feel of a local neighborhood spot and the sophistication of a big city restaurant. The service is always great. This past visit, I arrived for a 7:15 reservation and they were already out of the fish and lamb option. That was a big disappointment. The wait was extraordinarily... More

With another couple, we had dinner here recently. It was overall a mediocre dining experience. Two couples ordered a bottle of pro secco. When poured, it was warm. We all tried the special soup of the evening, watermelon gazpacho. It was basically a broth with no pureed or fixed vegetables or fruit. It was seasoned with something that tasted liked... More

I went last May after a recommendation from someone in the neighborhood.Excellent food and worth the crowd and noise. Small place and busy but deservedly a neighborhood favorite.

I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite awhile and unfortunately I should have waited indefinitely ! The service was awful except for 1 woman who was attentive - she was not our waiter . Our waiter was socially awkward and had a attitude - not a good combination . We sat down for dinner and orders our... More

since some friends recommended it, we decided to try out this restaurant for an early anniversary celebration dinner. We went on a Sunday which is pre-fix menu for $40. My salad appetizer was excellent, my mushroom/summer veggie risotto entree was OK, felt I was cheated on the mushrooms tho. creme brulee for dessert, yummy, cant go wrong with that.

Exceptional service and exceptional cuisine. Portions were large for each course – salad, dinner, and dessert. Terrific value for an upscale dining experience.

My fiancee took me to Ten Tables the night we got engaged. It is a charming, intimate restaurant with really interesting food. Has sort of a NY-vibe to it. Highly recommended!

We were too jetlagged to enjoy a full dinner at the restaurant so we sat down at the atmospheric, candle-lit TT Bar. Shared two dips (baba ghanoush and ricotta & honey), which were nice, but the star of the evening was the "big bite": pieces of perfectly seared duck breast on a mixture of green lentils, kale and bacon.

Staying in Jamaica Plain

Neighbourhood Profile
Jamaica Plain
This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct community unique and separate from the bustle of other areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful, large green space well worth a visit if you venture to JP.
