We had a fantastic dinner at Abby Lane before going to see Louis CK at the Wang. Our party ordered the sliders, the steak flatbread, the spinach salad and the Greek salad with salmon. All of us enjoyed the food very much. The drinks and the bar were also great. We were on the first floor which was lively and... More

We went on a Sunday evening and sat upstairs. We had the best server, Ellie! She was clearly overworked as it seemed they may have been short staffed. Her demeanor was so friendly and helpful. Food was ok, nothing special. It was super noisy!

Fantastic food and right across from the Wilbur theater. Had the Pan Roasted Salmon with crab meat stuffing, garlic spinach served on white bean stew. It was fabulous - the salmon and spinach were perfectly cooked, and was I amazed how well the bean stew went with the fish - but then again fish and baked beans are a Boston... More

We've been here twice now- both times for a function. The staff was great on both occasions. All the food l've tried has been very good. Sliders, fries, fish tacos, tuna tartare, and pizzas were all good. I would definitely return here.

We headed to Abby Lane after a show at the Charles Street Playhouse. Thankfully, we had reservations because the place seemed quite busy. The hostess sat us near the door, which normally is not a problem. However, after a few minutes of being blasted by cold air every time the door opened or closed, I asked the hostess to be... More

This was our first time visiting the restaurant. We made reservations for the four of us and we were seated right away. The interior is clean and inviting with an open kitchen. One whole wall is glass looking out onto Tremont Street. Staff was very friendly and the food was incredible! We had burgers, Ahi Tuna burger and Chicken sandwich.... More

On way between two hotels with family we stopped in with a huge group. Quickly found a table and had great service. Burgers and Fish N Chips were very good - EPL soccer on TV easy to see from long table. Good selection of quality beers. Not perfect location but good on way somewhere.

HUGE serving of delicious fries come wih sandwiches and burgers. Right in theater district with a very efficient but friendly staff. Some unusual cocktails made for a great after theater stop.

We were in Boston for a show at the Wilbur Theatre. Grabbed dinner before the show at Abby Lane (recommended by the hotel). The was not a bust... The food was good, with large portions. The place was packed before the show and service for both food and spirits was really fast. Everything was prepared great and came out quickly.... More

While visiting Boston for the weekend we stopped at Abby Lane for a drink. The atmosphere and service was so inviting we went back the next day for dinner. The food was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend Abby for casual dinning with a polished atmosphere and good service. Reservations would be recommended.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
