You can find authentic tacos here as well as interesting bottled beer from Central America. I've also had enchiladas, which were good. Friends rate the fish tacos A++

I love this place! It is located right across from the Maverick Sq. T station. All the reviews here are right on target. Great food, great prices. Very casual service but friendly and efficient. They play the music a little too loud for conversation in my opinion, but i order pickup more often than dining there. My most recent try... More

We had lunch here and the food is excellent. I had fish tacos and my lunch partner had enchiladas. All good. Had guacamole with chips: the guacamole was creamy and not too spicy and the chips were warm! We were there at 2:00 pm and it got really crowded not long after we arrived.

I adore Mexican and South American food (although as another reviewer commented, my heritage doesn't make me an expert!) This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area, hands down. I've been going here for years (and if you haven't been here in a while, it's had a makeover and looks much less like a shack on the... More

A welcoming place from the moment I entered the door, from an attentive customer who rose to open the door, to the servers who immediately welcomed me in. The fish tacos were delicious and the atmosphere happy. I'll definitely plan to return when I'm in the area again.

This is a down and dirty mexican/Central American joint. We samples a lot of the food (tacos, nachos, papusas, chile rellenos, tamales) and it was all amazing. Spent half of what we would have in a restaurant downtown boston.

Among the multitude of South American restaurants in Eastie, this one is hands down the best. The food is fresh, affordable, and generously portioned. I can get an app and a meal for 10 bucks. The sopes are delicious and the chimis are amazing. Get anything pork and it will blow your mind. This is the real deal in authentic... More

This place is awesome. The food is really really good and they have buckets of jalepenos to pass around. The nachos are a great appetizer, but they use real steak on them, so I'd recommend getting them as a meal.

First let me say that I'm a "blanca", and therefore may not be deemed qualified to comment on the authenticity of their food. But that shouldn't matter, because the place is great. Located right off of the Maverick T stop (Blue Line), the restaurant is bright and clean, belying the somewhat seedy surroundings outside. The pupusas, which were the sole... More
