I came here with some friends for my buddy's 30th birthday. i have been here once before and liked it, but this time it was too much. At some point, they decided to turn off the AC and open the windows thinking that it was cooler outside than inside, but that just made everyone hotter. My friend and his girlfriend... More

... Food was great, beer was fantastic, service was ornery. I didn't expect too much from this place since it's a designated dive, but i was anticipating a very unique, fun bar.. I have to say though I was blown away with the food and drink! The bar tender seemed troubled by my being there, for being such a small... More

Good beer selection. Pleasant atmosphere. Comfort foods include choices for those pesky vegetarians in your crowd. You can actually hear yourself talk!

Excellent selection of beer (with stated alcohol volume) and food array was basic, but with unique attributes, and fun language on the menu. Chipotle mayo - YUM, but definitely hot!

The location of this place in a parking deck caught my eye as I was walking around Boston looking for somewhere to eat. It was early in the evening and the place was hopping mostly with men drinking beer. If that's all you need then it's probably great. I, however, wanted a good meal and something to drink other than... More

As a fan of dive bars, craft beer, and Bukowski novels, I had to stop here when a local bartender mentioned it. Cool, laid back environment with an extensive list of beers you've never heard of, and a menu full of great greasy bar food (the turkey sandwich was delicious). Keep in mind it's cash only, and one should expect... More

The steak and chicken bombs are delicious! Decent selection of drinks. Pretty funny and trash talking signs!

My buddy and I finished off a night with a bunch of drafts at the bar. Really good selection of drafts. Great fried foods and hot dogs. I particularly like the chili dog. Cash only.

My son and I stopped in for a quick drink and appetizers before a concert nearby. Great place! Small and crowded, but good food, drinks (a little pricey) and friendly service. Sweet potato tater tots and fried ravioli, along with many other traditional as well as unusual menu items make this an interesting spot for an informal visit.

I stopped in for a quick bite while in town for training. I was able to get a good burger and fries and get in and out in under 30 minutes which is great for lunch if you are pressed for time. Bartenders aren't the friendliest but they were pleasant enough.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
