We were snowed in at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston. We ate breakfast here, buffet and lobster eggs Benedict. That was great. Had lobster flatbread for lunch one day and that was pretty good. The dinners were either not good or very good. The crab sliders were a highlight. The service was sketchy to say the least. It looked... More

I do believe you may be talking about the restaurant in the Marriott, which is not Tia's. we do not serve a buffet brunch, nor do we serve brunch. Right now we are closed for the winter. I would greatly appreciate if you correct this. I am sorry you did not have a great experience at the restaurant you were... More

We stopped here after walking to Quincy Market area. It's on the water in a pretty area. We were here for lunch it was very quiet. I had clam chowder and crab cake sliders. Two friends had the same thing. The food was good, I enjoyed this place.

This place is very obvious a lure for tourist, however the food we had was great. The lobster roll was good, no filler, all lobster. I enjoyed

Been to Tia's late-night on the weekend a few times, and I'm never really impressed. While the patio is nice, it's often packed shoulder-to-shoulder with recent college grads and bros screaming at each other. It's just ok.

Food was great, I would recommend the lobster and shrimp scampi any day and the clam chowder in a bread bowl was also tasty.

Last minute meeting scheduled for 13 people. We were sat immediately which was great. Food was average. Clam chowder was heavy on potato and light on the clams. Swordfish was dry and tasteless. Other people enjoyed their meals, but no one had the "wow" factor.

Gary, Sorry you did not enjoy your meal. I will make sure they re-evaluate the clam chowder when we re-open in the spring. I hope you will give us another try. Sincerely, Katie Gorman More

We ate lunch here, my wife had the lobster salad role, there was plenty of lobster, the Cobb salad was reasonable, although I have had larger ones in the US.Service was quick and the server was polite. The overall cost was reasonable.Try not to get a table out the front near the road as the trolleys tours stop here, and the... More

Steve, Thank you for your review. Lobster roll is one of my favorites. I wish there was something I could do about the smell from the trolley's. Our patio was there long before the trolleys were given permission to stop there. There are plent of other of options of where to sit other than near the trolleys. I hope you... More

On the north side of the Longwharf Marriott, great place to have a cocktail and enjoy the view. We did not eat here so can't rate the food, but as a bar, excellent

The hop on hop off bus stops very near this restaurant, so it goes without saying that this is not some hidden gem within the city. I ordered the fish & chips & they were great - the batter was light & crispy despite looking rock hard & thick. The service was not 100%; I had to ask for a... More

My wife and I were craving some more seafood before we headed to the airport. It was a rainy afternoon but we still sat out on the patio. The fish and chips were exceptional - some of the best I've had in a long time. Service was quick and friendly. My wife had the sliders and they looked good! Be... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
