The food was fine, wine offerings by the glass offered enough choices ( also very generous with tasting samples) and we were seated in a nice window seat on the second floor. The restaurant was not crowded yet the waitstaff service, especially after finishing our entree', was not great - had to wait a while to get attention. Our sense... More

Graduation dinner for kids and parents (Tuft's) and perhaps had low expectations, given the typical problems with large group dining. The staff were way prepared, drinks came promptly, wine service at the door was awesome, they were quick with service and not hovering in an evening when we were basically devoting all attention to the kids. Food was a bit... More

Thanks for your kind and thoughtful review. Graduation parties can be difficult because of their size and timing, but glad our staff handled your party to your satisfaction. Please come back and try us again on a more relaxed evening. More

Made a reservation weeks in advance for a friends graduation dinner. Called approximately 100 times to change the number in my party and when we finally settled on 3 from 6 they gave us zero fuss about actually showing up with two after a member had called out sick. They initially sat us at a 4 top which felt a... More

Went here for an anniversary dinner - they did not reserve a special table or outside or anything - but it was ok. We had prosecco with friends to celebrate - I wish they'd ad a french or california option - prosecco is so sweet. I had the bolognese pasta and the bolognese was good - but not great. No... More

The food is great. The chef came by to talk about the appetizer selections. We ordered 4 different appetizers, all were delicious. There were 6 of us and no one had a complaint. My left overs were just as good the next day for lunch. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the North End.

Had dinner with my family cause all restaurant around the area were full. It is difficult to make it worse. Antipasto was a mixture of cheap cheese and cheap dry meat. Only thing good were the olives. Pasta was overcooked and little taste. Tiramisu was good, we ordered it after they told us they bought in a pastry next door...... More

Tresca's is located at the beginning of Hanover Street in Boston's North End. Known for excellent Italian eateries there is the perception that you, "Cant go wrong in the North End. Just pick any restaurant." Well, as a frequent diner in the North End, I'm here to tell you, Tresca's is the exception. First, the restaurant is tiny as most... More

We sat in the bar area at a table on a Friday night. Chris the bartender was on par and was one of the best waiters I've had anywhere! Food was good. Nachos Bolognese was amazing! The wild boar bolognese on Rigatoni special was also very good.
