Good to have experienced it but doubt that I would return. I am in Boston often and have been to several highly recommended restaurants, and so my friends thought it was time for me to try The Beehive for dinner. It has been around for many years. The service was friendly but the quality of the starters (chicken kofta and... More

Great vibe, somewhat of a noise level, lots of energy. Seriously the Beehive burger was outstanding.

Our party of 6 had a very nice dinner hear while listening to some talented jazz musicians. The interior is quite a maze (bee hive?) and with lots of exposed brick and interesting art it's fun to just walk around and look at the interior while you're waiting for your food. We were all very happy with our meals and... More

Fun location with great music. this is a great place to start your weekend in Boston. A more varied vegetarian menu would have given this a 5 star.

It was our first time here, all 4 of us and it will not be our last! We absolutely loved everything about The Beehive. First off, we had reservations and 2 people from our party were running late and the staff let us wait and not lose our table. So kind and helpful! The music was amazing, the ambiance was... More

Took my college-aged daughter for breakfast, and we had a great morning at the Beehive. The restaurant is in a very cool space with an upper level overlooking stage and main restaurant below. We had the quiche and waffled, but I kind of wish I went with the Eggs Shakshuka or Salmon Cake after witnessing neighborhood tables satisfaction. The jazz... More

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
