So many things to choose from! I wish I could have gotten 1 of everything! The cannolis were great and the Boston creme cake was to die for. I actually got it for my son but ended up eating most of it myself.

You will love Bova's!! They have the absolutely best baked goods around! We tried several different desserts and loved them all. The Cannoli are absolutely amazing, I can not put into words how awesome they were.

Was really curious why this place got such good ratings. I am a sweet tooth who knows best bakeries in every city we go to. So I get in,no customers, no line. But rows of very ordinary looking pastries. I got what looked the best- ricotta...pie.The guy behind the counter told me it's the best I ever tried. No, he was wrong, not nearly the best, very ordinary. The other thing which makes it a no-no destination for me- they have PRE-FILLed cannoli and lobster tail! REally? They are supposed to be filled for you, when you order.Otherwise they become soggy, as they absorb the cream filling. You can see it in fotos people posted. If you want to know the difference- go to Modern pastry.Classy shop with excellent product.See my review.More

Stopped by Bova's when I was working in Boston. My hotel was near the North End so I wanted to check out some of the Boston bakeries that everyone raves about. This is an old school Italian bakery that is still cash only. Though everything...in their glass counters was tempting, I kept my purchase to a single chocolate chip cannoli. The cannoli was massive, the flavors were outstanding, and the value was truly unbelievable. (For this size homemade cannoli shell empty it would be almost $3.50 so for that price to include a delectable filling as well I am truly impressed and pleasantly surprised!) If it fits in my schedule, I am even going back by there this afternoon to grab a slice of pizza before I leave to catch my flight... Two thumbs way up for Bova's!More

We visited Boston in October, tried a few different cannolis from different bakeries and Bovas was the best by far. Don't let the line discourage you if there is one, they get you in and out quickly! Best bakery we visited!

A very large selection of cannoli's and other treats. Always a line. For a reason! I had a cannoli and the fruit tart.

We purchased only the cannolis and they were outstanding. We had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes but it moves quickly and totally worth the short wait. Would highly recommend this pastry shop.

The cannoli experience was awesome. The filling was smoother and softer than most and that really made the flavor pop more on the shell and toppings. They also have like 10 different flavor options- so take a group of people with different tastes and you're...going to enjoy it. The Lobster Tail pastry was well made, but not super sweet. The only thing I would steer you away from is their rice krispies- it was too "marshmallowy" and not enough crunch.More

Bova's is BEST as compared to the local competition (Mike's Pastry & Modern Pastry). The cannoli shell from Bova's is more delicate and the taste of the stuffing is more homemade. Although there aren't as many cannoli varieties as Mike's, the quality of Bova's creations...more than makes up the difference. The carrot cake has real cream cheese frosting. Bova's is first in real Italian bakery quality, followed by Mike's, then Modern Pastry a distant third place.More

Yes! Great place to bring friends and family. There are no tables but the pastries are amazing; Italian sweets are beyond belief. You will see many treats rarely found at other, more touristy, places. Everything is... More
