Very nice restaurant. Good service and good food. Not too expensive. I would have liked another scallop or two in the risotto. The steak was more than adequate and very tasty. I liked the menu too.

They are not the same as true New Orleans French Quarter, Cafe Du Monde beignets but they were yummy in their own right. Lighter and fluffier. The sauces were... More

The coffee not so much. The Beignets with both the Nutella and Lemon Curd dip were Yummy. Not as good as Cafe du... More

Consistently great food and good service. I go to Current at least once a month for business lunches, and it never disappoints.

We ordered their beignet with bacon maple syrup. It was flaky and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The bacon maple... More

I had the pleasure to eat at the Currant Brasserie and it was unbelievably delicious. It's a great French inspired restaurant attached to the Sophia hotel in downtown San Diego. The food was delicious especially the wedge salad. They have their own version of what a wedge salad should be and it was quite tasty in fact I went back... More

Exceptional service and great food. We had brunch on Sunday after a night at the Sofia hotel. No wait and the atmosphere is great. The Bloody Mary's are a work of art!

Stopped by here for breakfast for the beignets. It was delicious - I tried the nutella creme and bacon-maple dipping sauces.
