When I made reservations, I did not specify any dietary restrictions (my bad), have never had to do it for any other teas. The savories included pastrami croissant (!?), shepherds pie pastry, an Italian Meatball soup (again, an odd choice for English tea). The scones were passable (nothing spectacular) and there were 2 sweets (a ganache cupcake and toffee cookie).... More

Visited on 2017-02-05 at 1100. Had two Queens Tea, at $29.00 each plus tax and tip, total about $70. We had a reservation, which is a must. The selection was well prepared and nicely presented. Staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. The tea selection offered a broad range, which you can see on the menu or on the tea wall.... More

We loved it. The ambiance was great but the service and food was even greater. You will pig out on the entire experience and everything is wonderful. You can stay as long as you like, never run out of yea and try many if you like. A truly civilized way to go.

They have diverse teas from across the world, a truly wonderful assortment. I particularly enjoyed the 30-year Pu-erh tea I tried, a very nice contrast to the first flush Darjeeling. Life's short; try exotic teas, especially when accompanied by delicious pastries and cakes.

We had a lovely couples high tea while visiting the Coronado/San Diego/Pacific Beach area for a rowing regatta to see our child compete. My husband sweety made us reservations for me to enjoy a tea day. They have a wonderful menu to choose from in different price ranges. The tea with the main service menus is limitless as part of... First off, I'm British. I have eaten afternoon teas throughout England and a few in the US. This place was abysmal. Firstly, the amount of food provided for an afternoon tea service was a joke. In England afternoon tea is served with a bountiful amount of food: multiple small tea sandwiches, two scones and multiple sweets/cakes per person. We ordered... More

This is a nice place to go with girlfriends for a little shopping break mid-afternoon. Although it isn't close to any shopping I know of...it's worth going there anyway. If you need to buy some tea or anything to serve it in, check out the wall of specialty teas and they'll be happy to tell you all about them. Order... More

we had a lovely 2 hours at the end of a long day, relaxing and enjoying several different teas. The courses were all delicious - we ate everything they gave us. All teas are available for purchase, as is the marvelous rose jam. we each tried 3 different pots of tea. The House Blend is quite nice. The coconut is... More

I just don't understand these reviews. I have taken my wife to just about every tea room in San Diego county and this is the best! The only thing I don't like about this place is the limited parking. The service is delightful, they have an efficient and caring staff, the food is absolutely amazing, it taste as good as... More
