I had a business dinner in the Gaslamp district in San Diego. Don't know this place very much and my "rendez-vous" picked the place. I was not expecting much to be honest. However this was a pretty good surprise. Despite the fact that the place...More

With so many choices, we made a mistake picking Searsucker. Walking the Gaslamp in the afternoon we poked our heads in and it looked nice, good menu so we made a reservation. Dinner time and we received initial prompt service but my wife felt it...More

My husband planned a trip for the two of us to San Diego. Many people raved to us about Searsucker so we made reservations and even added two local family members to it after we invited them to join us. We arrived, were seated and...More

Fair place with good food. A bit slow on the service and ineffective seating... took too long full the tables. We had different 'smalls' to share. Note there's high music inside later on. Very lively.

Cool interior and good music. The baked Brie starter was delicious but our main course took forever to arrive. Good thing the food was good, cause we sure worked up an appetite waiting for it.

We've been here before. The food tonight was not good. Nothing tastes fresh. They changed their recipes or something and a 3% surcharge in the bill for what? I was looking forward to this restaurant. Used to be one of my favorites. We ordered mussels,...More

Don't go to this restaurant. They add extra 3% surcharge. Servers don't even know why. One server said it was the law, but in actuality, it is not! This is absolutely not right. It is counter productive. If any restaurant adds hidden surcharges, it just...More
