We went for lunch but arrived a little early, around 11:45 am. Disappointed that the meatballs weren't ready but the waiter was very helpful in helping us select our dishes. Everything we tried was delicious but the bacon wrapped dates were memorable! Prices were reasonable. Definitely would return.

When I travel, I'm always on the lookout for exceptional food and entertainment. On a recent business trip to San Diego I got both great food and entertainment at Cafe Sevilla in the Gaslamp District. We pulled together a group of people from the convention and called ahead for a table. We shared plates of tapas around the table, a... More

I was staying in the Gaslamp District to attend a conference at the Convention Center. Based on the recommendation of the hotel staff, I decided to journey down a block to the Cafe Sevilla. I just wanted a small dinner so the idea of tapas sounded great. The waiter recommended Grilled Spanish Salchichas (Spicy Sausages) and Tortilla Espanola which were... More

We ate there on a Tuesday evening and it was full at 8PM. Good food, service and atmosphere. We had empanada appetizer and paella main courses, and saw some interesting looking dishes coming to the surrounding tables. Would definitely go back. I do not understand why you can get a tapa portion of the chorizo and seafood paellas, but not... More

A group of friends and I went to Sevilla after a conference. I'm not going to talk about the food or drink other than to expensive and it's a respectable looking restaurant. We divided the bill between us by card and cash making sure to leave a 20% tip. A few days later, those who paid by card noticed that... More

Hi Rob, Thank you for your honest review. We do take these very seriously and review them each week to ensure we give the best service and food as possible. We were sorry to hear about your experience with the mismanagement of the credit card charges; we would definitely like to look into this further. Would you mind emailing me... More

Good food (tapas), drinks and flamenco music. They have outdoor sitting if you don't want the music but the overall atmosphere is great.

This delightful Spanish restaurant is located in the Gaslamp quarter of San Diego. The menu brings out the best in Spanish cuisine. There were tapas and paella dishes. I went there with my family for dinner. We were lucky to get a table as we arrived early at about 6pm. Later on, we noted that a queue had formed. The... More

Ate dinner here with a party of 3 on a Saturday nite. Was able to walk in and immediately get a table. Tapas is good - paella is just OK. Would recommend the custom jamon carving option as well.

I have been here twice and both times really enjoyed it. Great for large parties, get lots of tapas and share. The ambiance is great, always friendly, good food.

Went for dinner before 7pm, didn't realize the great discounts before on entire menu on the Friday night. I had tapas, my wife had the tapas size black seafood paella. The jamon croquettes, meatballs in wine and garlic, and papas bravo. All tasted great especially the croquettes, though not like I'm accustomed to. I little mushy, taste was great though... More
