My husband and I spent a week in San Diego, Casa Guadalajara in old town was our favorite place to eat. We went back there twice. The Tostada with shrimps was absolutely delicious. If you are visiting San Diego a meal at Casa is a must,I would definitely recommend it fantastic atmosphere and music

We have been here before and it never disappoints. My family loved the food which was served hot and delicious. We got a chimichanga, carne asada and shrimp, lobster/shell fish tacos and drinks. The lobster tacos were so delicious! The raspberry margarita was a favorite and the beers were cold. Prices are good and service is fast!

Front of the house staff is very nice and friendly. Instantly felt welcome. My wife ordered a Mangonada Margarita which she really enjoyed of. I recommend it if you enjoy a sweet cocktail. I just had a Pacifico beer. We ordered the "antojitos platter" to start. Once it arrived it didn't seem too appealing to my eye. Presentation is very... More

Food was tasty and plentiful. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. The ambiance was perfect for the cuisine. If you go to Old Town, make a point of eating here.

The theme was great, the only good comment I have. I order the cheese enchilada, chili Relleno, and taco. I couldn't even find my Chili Relleno on the plate it was hidden in all the sauce and the cheese enchilada was just not good, the tortilla was hard, and I didn't even touch my taco because it just didn't even... We visited on a Saturday night and only waited for 15 minutes for a table for two, although I suspect more people and warmer weather would make wait times longer. Food was quite good and margarita's gigantic. Good authentic Mexican dishes.

Seating was very quick and the outdoors patio a great place to sit. Menu choices are plentiful as well as the bar and margarita menu. Food is served fast, hot and plentiful. Strolling mariachi complete the night.

Stopped in last week. Vacationing in the area and it was close to Hotel Row. Parking lot was full so we decided to stop in for dinner. 15 minute wait ended up being 2 minutes. Nice atmosphere, great wait staff, quick service. Chips were crisp, salsa was awesome. The Chip guy was attentive. Our waitress had bedroom eyes and I... More

This restaurant was truly Mexican. The decor, place and staff were really part of the experience. Food is great but definitely can be shared as the portions are huge! A little pricey but worth it

Good Mexican restaurants are all over the country now but we had hoped being here just north of the Mexican border would have made this one better. Chips and salsa were a let down. No booths only tables. Everyones food was good but no meal was in the "best ever" zone.
