Followed Trip Advisor to Tom Ham's Lighthouse. Wife's yellow fin tuna was very good. My pan seared New York steak was not. And gnocchi was rubbery. My fault, perhaps, since Tom's is SEAFOOD centric, not steaks. Great for fish, oysters, etc. Will go again, but...More

I just finished a very disappointing “nice “ dinner. You can’t beat the view and I really enjoyed the beerBUT the food is tasteless and bland . We ordered the grilled octopus, paella, fresh halibut (smallest portion) All tasteless!! Now I’m really hungry for something...More

Had a great, relaxing meal here. Was here for a conference and decided to give it a shot. Absolutely stunning views, service, and food. Diana was such a great server (and that teem does not do her justice). She was more like a friend but...More

Great food and large wine list with local beer also. The view at sunset was incredible. Definitely, recommend.

I've been here three times now, and have enjoyed it each time. It's true that it doesn't have much of a San Diego feel from menu or beer list, it is nevertheless good food and prices CAN be reasonable. In particular, the oysters are excellent,...More

My experience was pleasant. I stopped by on a Sunday, before the rush and got a table outside. I started with a flight of draft beers (which are decently priced for the restaurant) and a tomato bisque soup. I followed up with oysters and finished...More

Located on Harbor Island with a view of the big bay toward the city from the second floor dining room, Tom’s will make big brunch lovers very happy. Reserve a table a few weeks out or arrive early and sit at the bar for couples....More

There is an elevator, so yes, you can get up to the second floor where the restaurant is.
