My husband and I enjoyed margaritas and a taco salad during our afternoon in Old Town. Tons of choices for the margaritas and the chips and salsa were good as well. The restaurant looked full but we were seated immediately and the service was fast.

Delicious Mexican food - we had the 'free' quesadillas (per a coupon at our hotel) and then a basket of warm chips and mildly spicy salsa to start. Then, huge portions of a shrimp enchilada and a carne special. Enough food for several meals !

Some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. Located in Old Town San Diego, Cafe Coyote offers a wide selection of traditional Mexican dishes from tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and many specialty dishes. The wait can be a bit long to get a table, so...More

Cafe Coyote is one of several restaurants situated in the Old Town area of San Diego. We chose to have a lunch here and were treated to a fine example of Mexican hospitality. As we were looking for more of a snack than a full...More

This was recommended by our tour guide. Fabulous and fun!!!!! Had a Frida margarita that was really delicious! Tacos were very good. Had a combo plate of chicken and beef. The beef was a lot better. Came with rice and beans.

This is THE place for the Old Town tourist experience. And be prepared to wait to enjoy it. While you are waiting, watch the ladies preparing fresh tortillas. The food is surprisingly good for the amount they produce. Margaritas…bueno. You can even catch the game...More

There was a line to get in. I figured that was a good sign since the other Mexican restaurants did not have a wait. They sell freshly made tortillas right along the sidewalk. That was cool. There were multiple buildings with a courtyard in between....More

There is outdoor seating that is cool and entertaining. While there was no " lunch special", the food was a decent price and was delicious. The taste was fresh and the servings were plentiful. The service was excellent.

I believe so, but I'm not positive. You probably need to call to confirm/deny...but the restaurant is so well worth the visit!!!
