Cafe Coyote will not disappoint you. Their menu is extensive, truly authentic flavors and best of all are the handmade tortillas and yummy margaritas! Beware if you order a Grande Margarita they mean it! The restaurant is huge with upstairs and downstairs seating and many times a line to get in but totally worth the wait if so. Their Chile... My work group met here for lunch on a day our location was closed for President's Day. We had made a reservations since there would be 10-15 people. On arrival, no reservation found. We were seated in a dark, large room in the very back of the restaurant. No other diners there, and we actually had to ask them to... More

Went on 18FEB2017 and even though the weather wasn't the greatest the line to get in was massive telling us it was worth the wait. To our surprise it only took a shirt 15 minutes to seat our party of 4. The ambiance is loud and energetic. The restaurant is massive! My wife had seen a video of this place... More

Cafe Coyote is a large restaurant in Old Town, San Diego. On weekends, there is usually a line, but because they restaurant has many rooms, the line goes pretty quickly. We were there on a cool night, there are heaters to keep you warm. The service was good, and the food was typical Mexican. If you get a table in... More

Wonderful Mexican food. We were here on a Saturday night. There was quite a line of people, they were very fast in seating people. We probably only waited 10 minutes. It is loud, but that was because of so many people not music. The service was awesome Chriss our waiter was very helpful and quick service. The food was fabulous,... More

Very busy on weekends but a large facility with many rooms and lots of seating. The wait was not unreasonable. The margaritas were delicious. We had the side of guacamole which came in an edible chip bowl. The guacamole was delicious and the edible chip bowl was also. Our meals, Carne asada burrito and the carnitas were well prepared and... More
