Very extensive menu of quality Thai food, good service, nice atmosphere, good for lunch or dinner, pricing reasonable, food so yummy, and the icy cold Thai beer was great - they also have an extensive wine list. Also, the person who appeared to be the Owner checked on us during, and at the end of the meal to be sure... More

Very Good food, lovely setting, especially up the three steps to the back dining room, (request when reserving). Amazingly diverse and long menu. Service very good!

We shared a spicy yellow curry and (crispy) tofu in peanut sauce. Both were excellent. And lunch comes with a small (lukewarm uninteresting) soup, a small salad and very good fresh veggie wonton and egg roll. Service was attentive without being clingy. White tablecloths- though unfortunately under a glass topper - gave the place a sophisticated look. Parking was so... More

This used to be a favorite of ours, because the food and decor were pleasing. Service was never their best feature, and it has gotten much worse. Our servers were brusque and perfunctory; we were treated like an imposition, an inconvenience that had to be tolerated. The padded bench (in the outside seating, which is heated) sloped sharply to the... More

From the Curry starter to the pad Thai noodles this restaurant was awesome for a vegetarian. They prepared the pad thai without eggs for us. Nicely decorated and friendly wait staff. Great restaurant !

Good food at a great price. We lived in Hillcrest for 14 years, and this was our "go to" spot. Our favorites were the Thai Fried Rice, Basil Eggplant, and Cha Cha Cha. You can order the food as spicy or as mild as you prefer. In recent years the quality has been a little hit or miss, but it... More

Excellent Food and good service, parking was tricky because of its location. Tried Tomyum Soup and Samosa for appetizer really good.

While parking in Hillcrest can be a challenge it's worth it! Loved the crab pad thai but so many wonderful choices and super friendly staff!

They struck me on a side table with a small candle so it was very difficult to see what I eating. Maybe that was a good thing because the pad Thai was very bland and hardly spicy. I can only give a 2 star on this dish and maybe 1 star on the sitting. They knew the light was out... More

This place has really nice decor and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I visited Amarin for dinner during our vacation in San Diego. I ordered crab fried rice which was so-so and a Thai iced tea that I did not like. It was watery and lacked the right flavoring. (Let's call it an off night). They seemed to be pretty... More
