Fish fillet overcooked way too much grease and butter on mac and cheese and grits. Sounded like a grade school cafeteria

Arrived to our destination exhausted. Ordered take out by phone. They said it would be ready at 7pm. Here we stand at 7:30 pm. Still no food. Cashier keeps telling us they are bagging it. Been telling us that for 15 minutes. Poor. No excuse.
Stopped here after along day on the road and found the food was great. Service was a little slow, but we were there just as the evening meal was getting up to full speed. I had a four veggie plate and it was very good. The other driver had the hamburger steak and he was bragging on it. This is... More
I had my family of 5. We were on our way to Bryson City. It was very busy because it was Thanksgiving weekend and Sunday. I didn't feel like the wait was extremely long. We had plenty to look at while waiting. The food was great for all of us. I'm not always a fan of this restaurant but this... More
Overall Plentiful and Delicious food. I promised my son I would try to make the meatloaf at home. (The excellent rating is for the meatloaf platter.) Corn bread could be better (dry). Grilled chicken tenders needed to be trimmed more carefully of grizzle. Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes and Green beans and Apple Pecan Pie fabulous! Server started out great but... More
I have been here probably a dozen of times over the years and this was by far the worst experience I have had dining out. We had 4 adults and 3 small children, so we weren't asking mg much. The waitress began the evening by saying that they were short staffed, so have patience. We told her we understood, but... More
Staff is always friendly and food is always great. We eat here every time we are in town. The employees in the store area are helpful and know where things are. I like the selection for people on a diet.
I am a fan of eating at Cracker Barrels when we travel. There is always the down home feeling as soon as you enter. I had to wait a few minutes for a table; but that is OK as there is the country store to browse in. My husband had plans to meet a family member that he has not... More
We had a really good breakfast at the Cracker Barrel off of I-26 near Hendersonville, NC. Coffee was good . . . oatmeal with lots of walnuts and apples with a fresh, hot blueberry muffin. There were loads of blueberries in the muffins. Very friendly, nice atmosphere and very convenient. Would definitely stop there again.
