Hidden down below east seventh Kyo Ya is balletic Japanese high cuisine with startling freshness complexity beauty and a dash of strangeness, served with grace and warmth. Not expensive for what it is if one is selective

I came with a friend for the omakase menu. All the dishes had too much sauce and tasted the same. A disappointment, especially given the price tag. The sashimi was excellent.
