This was the highlight of our trip to NYC. What a great little club with true style and one that provides food too. Not cheap, but for us it was worth it, all four of our meals were delicious. The band was superb and one that you can not take your eyes and ears off. Call them up if no... More

This is my favorite club, in the jazz capital of the world. Why? First, the music. It's mostly hard bop, blues/R&B-influenced music. Generally accessible. Good to bring non-hardcore jazz fans. Next, the room. Cozy, intimate (holds only about 50), warm decor and awesome sound no matter where you sit. Next, the food. Truly good, not just for a club. There... More

We went there for a jazz evening. The Jazz playing was good but very short. Food was ok expensive we had to eat fast while listening to the music. My steak was cold so was my chips. Had to get up to find someone to inform. They did finally bring me a new one. By then we have to leave... More

This is a small venue and you are really snuggled in close to other patron tables. Know that the food and the show are two separate charges - this seemed to cause confusion with some others visiting when we were there. The music was fantastic, and the acoustics were perfect. The food was very tasty, but my husband had the... More

So many talented visitors appeared to play amazing tunes when they had never met before!?? Could only happen in a Jazz club. Singers, saxophonist's, drummers, bass players and pianists', who just turned up through the evening and just joined in. So Cooool???!

This was a wonderful set. Al Foster killed it on the drums. Restaurant week special! Absolutely delicious Short Ribs off the bone. For lovers of Jazz, this place is a gem. A must in the city! Took out my brother and my girlfriend who had not been to a Jazz club before and they loved it. Service was great. Food... More

Better to reserve in advance. We choose the bar instead of dinner tables and share a main dish before the jazz session and we think it was the best option. Nearly no tourists; all local people on Sunday night. Anyway, the best was the playing band, celebrating the anniversary of Jimmy Cobb, one of the Kind of Blue band with... More

The place was nice. In my opinion it felt small. They tried to fit too much in a small space. I liked the idea of it being a Jazz club and having live music. The night I went the music was okay. The service was okay as well. The alcoholic drinks offered I tried 2 of them and I didn't... More

The place is very small, and the tables are very close to each other so we are not sitting so comfortable. The food was bad, my steak was over cooked, and they forgot my friends main course. They told us that my friend will have her coctail for free but they charged it. The prices are huge! One glass of... More

Had never been here but went with friends to see Gary Bartz. Greeted with a smile, fantastic service, really nice food and 'what a show'. Such an amazing, intimate venue to experience all that Jazz musicians have to offer. We will be back for sure!
