I had been meaning to check Death & Co. out for years and finally made it over as soon as they opened one night for drinks with two friends. The space itself is quite small but they control the capacity so it never feels crowded....More

Probably one of the the best cocktail bars in the city! They take their cocktails very seriously. They've redone the menu a bit but the drinks are all still amazing! Met a bartender who was visiting from Portland, OR who'd heard about the place and...More

I went here recently with my wife and a friend. And by “went here”, I️ mean we spent 2 hours on their waitlist before getting in. Was it worth the wait? Frankly, no. Sure, it’s kind of cool and the drinks were pretty good. But,...More

I've heard about Death & Co but never thought to give it a visit until recently. Two friends and I were in the area for dinner. One of them suggested that we put our names on the list before we go to dinner so that...More

What can I say about Death & Co? If you are a craft cocktail aficionado a visit to Death & Co is like a trip to the mother ship. It was crowded and noisy on a Thursday night, but they have an efficient process for...More

I had a very nice cocktail there and the bartender was very nice, she mixed a cocktail for me as I had a tough time deciding which one to pick. I loved the dark, the intimacy of the place. Pity I was alone, but might...More

I liked how the hostess on the door made sure everyone got a seat. It was comfortable inside, nice atmosphere, lovely bar tenders and really good drinks. The hostess on the door was... not welcoming. Shame.

As a cocktail enthusiast and hobbyist this was a "destination" experience for me, so I was expecting a long wait since I have known for a long time that the place was small and very popular. We were surprised that we were escorted to a...More

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to

My experience was ridiculous, and for what you end up getting, I'd try to find something else. They make it hard to get in because they have a "pretentious" factor they are working to make the place more desirable than it... More
