We really enjoyed dinner here. The restaurant is warm and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They offered their opinions on things while giving us the menu. There are a number of interesting items, but of course Mussels are predominant on this menu. We...More

A just-right combination of good food, moderate prices, carefully-selected wines, and friendly but respectful service. Recommended: calamari, roasted Brussels sprouts, steak frites, Berkshire pig combo (but wish it were all belly). We had a distinctive Cotes du Rhone, a very good example of the type,...More

Mediocre food, over priced drinks and poor, unprofessional service. There are better choices in the neighborhood.

I had dinner at B. Cafe East last February, and enjoyed the meal very much. Service was fast and friendly, cleanliness was good, and the noise level was manageable. The corn soup was filled with whole kernel corn, absolutely delicious. Mussels were plump and delicious,...More

B Cafe is one of those places we constantly go back to when we visit NYC. It is small, dark, with a nice bar in front. The service is pleasant and the Belgian Steak with fries is wonderful. They also have other excellent dishes on...More
