Great greek food in Midtown. Do not make a mistake to order starters, if you are not extremely hungry! The portions are so huge. The food wa very tasty and the service was great!

No flash, dishes aren't super creative just simple good food. We had the swordfish which was fresh, grilled nice, light seasoning and delicious. Spinach Pie was spot on too. A buddy I went to school with family was straight Greece and his dad made it from scratch. He must have been from the same Greek town because it could have... More

We went to Uncle Nick's by Madison Square Garden, 8th av. It was a really tasty Greek restaurant. Lovely starter which was four freshly made dips and freshly cooked pita. Then I had chicken kebab and rice and my wife had lamb kebab and rice. Great portion sizes and really fresh and tasty food. Waiting staff were good. My wife... More

Went to this place as it was near our hotel. Didn't expect too much from it but the food there was just to die for. Had the pork kebab and spinach pie. Both were served with rice and the rice was just out of this world. The Greek Mythos beer was very nice too. All in all great food at... More

Was attending an event at the Garden and found Uncle Nick's when we were looking to eat before the show. Pleasantly surprised. Good food and service. Would definitely go back. Ordered the large Greek salad, gyro platter and spinach pie. Large portions.

On a day trip to NYC. We went in after getting dropped off at Penn Station coming in from EWR. Saw this place on my last visit. Unfortunately, no one at the hotel had heard of it so, since it was raining and lunch time, we decided to stop in for a shared plate and drink. It wasn't very crowded... More

The place is simple / kind of a quick service type layout. The food is priced decently for the location. Food is great (even to my Greek co-worker) and service is very good. We eat here every time we are nearby.

We went to Uncle Nick's for lunch while waiting to take our afternoon long distance Amtrak train. It's just a short walk downtown from Penn Station on 8th Ave. The owner (or manager?) was just opening up and she smiled and joked with the few of us waiting. We sat down and were met by the grumpiest waiter in NYC.... More

Staggered in exhausted after our first day in NYC. The atmosphere was good and we ordered pretty quickly. The food arrived and we all dived in. We all agreed that the grilled meats were succulent but didn't have a lot of flavour. The only thing with bags of flavour was the potatoes which I really enjoyed. Overall I was a... More

Good food, good service. A Gyro sandwich and a veggie sandwich were large and tasty. We stopped for lunch before catching the train out of town; by 1pm the place filled up with midtown/Garment District office workers. The corner location means lots of light from large windows and high ceilings, so the interior was bright and airy. Our food was... More
