This could a good café only because of the convenience - it is located inside the Bloomingdale's store on Lexington and 59th Street. But it also offers a great food selection at a reasonable price. I was there on a heavy snow day, and the counter seats by the window were the perfect spot to enjoy the snow while we... More

We had been busy seeing the town and stopped in for a late lunch. The place was jammed but we were seated within 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the turkey sandwich and it was amazing!

We are here on a trip to Bloomingdales. One of the most overpriced meals I have had in NYC. Two tomato soups, with a sliver of grilled cheese, two bottles of water and a lobster roll, if it can be called that, for $64? The grilled cheese was literally half of a sandwich with the crust cut off. The soup... More

If you fancy a cup of tea beside a window with a view then David Burke's place fits well. Having a small menu you do not have too many choice. But I stuck to my cup of tea and engaged in a high powered discussion on the subject of 'world peace' while watching the world pass by.

This nondescript eatery is located inside the entrance of Bloomingdale's on E 59th St., thus the inflated prices. I ordered a Bacon burger, minus the bacon. Same price without the bacon - $22. My friend had 3 burger sliders w/o cheese @ $17. The food was just average, not nearly as tasty as Five Guys or In-N-Out. Add a small... More

I have been coming here for years and it is interesting to see the changes over time. Instead of bread, you still get those delicious popovers, which is the one constant. The food was always decent and the service used to be acceptable, albeit, indifferent. My favorites items of the past were the turkey burger and the deviled eggs but... More

Bloomingdales can get a much better top end restaurant. This one is smelly, overpriced and with tastless food .. and even worse: you order on an ipad ! Avoid this place and get a coffee one block away. Hope Bloomingdales will replace this restaurant soon.

Was here today after a visit to Home Depot. Two sandwiches and an Honest tea cost $27.00. Even by NYC standards that is way too pricey for me. There was only one cashier up front and she seemed to take for ever assisting the customer in front of me. i do not plan to return. Food was average

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
