The lunch buffet food is always fresh and well seasoned. There is a nice variety with many dishes changing daily. The $15 price is very reasonable for what you are getting. The servers are friendly and courteous. The restaurant is upstairs and is well appointed,...More

Great food, good price and they deliver! I order via seamless at Nirvana all the time! The lunch chicken special offers so much food that you might want to skip dinner! For the price, they provide a lot of great tasting food!!!

This was my first experience with Indian cuisine, and it was delicious. The portion sizes at Nirvana are quite large, and you can easily share a dish between two people. Everything was very flavorful. I would definitely eat here again,

We ate the Indian buffet lunch here. It was delicious. It had all the standard food items you find at an Indian buffet. Every item we tried was good. The restaurant was clean and service good.

Just walked by and decided to enter this restaurant. The food was very delicious. We had chicken tandoori and the chicken tikka (illustrated in the image below). The service was friendly and great.

We went on a Sunday night and ate downstairs, but it was not loud because they didn’t have live music. I understand from other reviewers that the upstairs is ok when they have music downstairs. We loved the Tiger prawn appetizer, naan, chutney (2 types...More

NYC has many Indian restaurants. Some are hypes, extremely expensive,un-authentic and treat guests with an attitude! Some are dirty and unhygenic.Against this background, Nirvana stands out shining! First and foremost, the decor is very pleasing and the seating is spacious, unlike many Indian restaurants where...More

The service was slow. The pickle was fantastic and the paladins had a great flavor to them. I ordered a spicy lamb vindaloo and was surprised that it was just a spicy red sauce with lamb meat. Don’t get me wrong, it was yummy and...More

I suspect not. Most of the food had either meat, onions, garlic, eggplant, potato - I certainly don't remember seeing it mentioned on the menu. That said, we had a person with lots of allergies - she was specific about... More

One of the finest Indian restaurants in Midtown Manhattan, Nirvana offers a unique and delectable Indian dining experience. Just a short walk from Grant Central, Nirvana frequently welcomes United Nations dignitaries and other high-profile clientele. Nirvana has a sleek, stylish interior design, highlighted by the exceptional Skylight Gallery Dining Room on the 2nd floor. The exposed brick walls and exotic aromas of Indian cuisine easily inspire a romantic dining atmosphere. The warm and welcoming lounge is a comfortable area in which to enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink from the bar, whilst relaxing in the enticing leather couches by the fireplace. Classic Indian dishes such as Chicken Tikka Masala are available, alongside the chef's irresistible signature creations. These include the Rabbit Fiesta - a hearty Rabbit Stew with chilli, peas and chutney - as well as light Vegetable Samosas and Chicken Stir Fry.
