A group of us went to this lovely bistro for brunch during our stay in NYC. I must say that i really enjoyed my choices and the croissants were freshly baked but 3 of our friends did not enjoy. The eggs were a bit dry and the pancakes were average. Also being in USA you expect the portions to be... More

We stopped here for lunch because we were starving and it's on the way to Central Park. It's diner food....all comfort food. Service was quick, food was great and priced well. Sure there's better places to eat, but here you get great value and food that's not going to give you tummy troubles.

The chicken was one of the best. The salad was fair, the apple tart poor and the service not much better. Ok, not great.

We happened upon this diner on a short trip to New York and had lunch there...then we had breakfast there...and then dinner there. We visited la Parisienne once each day on this trip. It was near our hotel and conveniently on the way to wherever we were headed. The staff was friendly, but professional. It could have been cooler (heat... More

The restaurant manager/bartender couldn't have been more rude. He made us feel like it was a privilege to eat there, trust me it wasn't. The place is very small, very loud and needs a god cleaning. The mussels had more sand in them then the beach and my steak was raw, when I ordered it medium. It took the kitchen... More

Nearby Central Park, so delicious breakfast for affordable price. The coffee was so good and the staff very helpful and friendly. It is nearby of Park Savoy Hotel and we enjoy a lot to spend 2 mornings over there.

Found this Diner practically at the end of our stay in NYC and boy we wish we'd discovered it earlier. Fantastic Pancakes, in fact I'd go as far as saying the best I had in NYC and very reasonably priced. Great service, Great food (extensive menu) Just perfect!!

Another neighborhood landmark hits the dust. Unreasonable rent increases (rumor has it to $40,000/month) this lovely, old time diner has shut it's doors. If we are lucky we will get yet another Chipotle or Subway. It's a real shame, for the regulars who have eaten at least one meal a day there for decades, for the loyal, hardworking staff that... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
