I joined two girlfriends here for a late Saturday brunch. We made a reservation but still had to wait about 30 minutes before our table was available. The place is small and popular and I quickly learned why! The brunch is delicious, the booze is top notch, and the service is fabulous! I had unlimited drinks, and while you can... More

My friend and I were visiting NYC and we were recommended Poco by another friend. Needless to say, we were not disappointed! The restaurant was a little late in opening up but we were served mimosas within 5 minutes of sitting down. I had the Poco Eggs Benedict and my friend had another egg dish. We also shared the French... More

This place rocks! Wonderful service and strong drinks ;) make reservations! The interior has such a unique character! Request to sit down stairs - super cool atmosphere and great music! The music was modern day hip hop mixed with throwbacks. Went with a group of 9 and had a blast. We loved it! Definitely will be back.

Great place to grab unlimited mimosa brunch. This place is downtown and very popular. Went during a weekday and my party was very late...Long story short, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, they allowed me to order and begin my unlimited mimosas before my party arrived. The drinks are abundant and the food was great. This is definitely a... More

The weekend brunch is this place claim to fame ... the options are good although I wouldn't recommend changing up the dishes too much if you're part of a group. The likelihood of them being able to serve all together came be affected by special requests. The bottomless drinks are standard if you're not drinking alcohol they will offer coffee... More

We went for the bottomless brunch deal.i liked that staff have give you the whole bottle on table rather than waiting to be topped up-we managed 2 bottles of sparkling wine mimosas between us! I had lobster macaroni cheese which was lovely and husband enjoyed the steak and egg sandwich.we explored bars in the east village afterwards and this brunch... More

My friend celebrated his birthday with a brunch at Poco and we had a really nice time. The food and the service were good, as were the sangria pitchers. I had the Lobster Mac'n'Cheese and loved it.

I visited Poco with a bunch of friends and really enjoyed its lively atmosphere. I had some sliders which were quite good and shared a mac n cheese which was a bit too heavy/sickly for me to be honest, but I'm sure die-hard mac n cheese lovers would be pleased! We also got some truffle fries which were ok but... More

Great vibe, delicious food and they keep you well topped up on the bottomless option. The portion sizes are just right and everything tasted great. All in all an ideal way to spend a Sunday shaking off the Saturday night cocktails!

Description
Less is always more. Restaurateur Sara Grizzle (formerly of Redemption Grill and Essex) and Food Network’s award winning chef, Abe Lopez, have teamed up to create a bright new spot in Manhattan’s East Village with the best Tapas ever plus other small dishes. The menu offers a taste of everything and accommodates every food preference, meat eaters and vegans alike. Serving Tapas lets a group mix and mingle. With a great wine list, a good selection of tap and bottled beers, as well as some of the most interesting cocktails around (try the Ginger Mojito), Poco is the perfect spot for a quick drink and appetizer, dinner, or a place to wind down after a hectic day.
The food is original and fantastic (Mac & Cheese & Lobster) and as well as a good price performer appealing to budgets of any size.
Everyone at Poco looks forward to serving you. Sara, one of the owners, is usually there and stops by each table to meet our guests. See you when you arrive.

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
