We traveled from Puerto Rico to celebrate my husband's 50th Birthday. The service and food was excelent. Our waiter, Manolo was great.

There are better steakhouses in New York. It was okay but not worth going back to. If you like an old-style steakhouse close to Theater District then this is ok. Gallagher's is better.

My wife and I ordered a Porterhouse Steak cooked medium to share along with creamed spinach, broccoli and a potato side with two glasses of Malbec wine. The food was good although the steak arrived medium rare. Including tax and tip, $232. Although we enjoyed the meal, it didn't feel like a £200+ meal.

Been here before but this new facility is lovely. The food is very good but prices are high. $200 with tip for two people with 3 drinks, one soda and only one dessert. Service was great. Close proximity to theaters so it is convenient. They also have a $55pp pre theater dinner with three courses.

I never thought the original restaurant on 44th street was anything very special other than the steep flight of stairs that you had to climb to get to your "reward" of a steak dinner. It always seemed like a you were taking a physical; if the climb didn't give you a coronary you were judged healthy enough to order a... More

Great old steakhouse for after theater dinner. I miss the old place but the food and service are still great.

We went to Frankie&Johnnie after a show. They have a new location that's much nicer then the former location. It's newer with nice ambiance and looks cleaner. Unfortunately the food hasn't changed. It's still a very average steakhouse in a City that has a lot of great steakhouses. The best part of the meal was the salad. The steaks are... More

Had a good dinner one night. After the theater rush, it was pretty easy to get a table. The appetizers were good, with decent portions. The entrees were will proportioned, though I will say my ribeye was fattier than I would have expected (I know that's a fatty cut of meat, but it was over and above). Had a good... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
