Went here with a group of 10 people. Service as really good and they handled a group of this size very well. The food was very good at well, I think everyone in the group was happy with their dishes. The place is not cheap, but in return you get really good service. The portions are really big - I... More

This restaurant is located in the heart of the theatre district and is frequented by famous people. It is a tiny place with too many tables crowded into the dining area. Servers bump into patrons while serving. The food was average and VERY overpriced. $18 for four asparagus spears.....if you have lots of money to spend on average food and... More

it went down hill from there. I expected a traditional New York Steakhouse. And it is a traditional New York Steakhouse except the only rib-eye they serve is a bone-in 26oz. OK, I ordered a filet medium rare which was served medium done at best. The wait staff was surly. We were a party of three women and were treated... More

I will try to keep this brief as this restaurant is not worth more than 5-10 minutes of my (or anyone’s) time. We booked a table for 3 on New Year’s Eve. Upon arrival we were asked if we’d like to check our coats, we declined citing cell phones, wallets, etc. in our coat pockets. The hostess replied something along... More

The bartendar makes one of the BEST Martinis in Midtown. The shrimp scampi recipe has my itialin mother in law in tears it was so good. and the au gratin potatoes all reasonable priced for Manhattan. I would recommned the bar over the dinning room

This place is great. Harking back to the US prohibition era, it gives everything u would expect to find in a typical NYC steakhouse. The food was great (steak and sides and vegetarian and fish options). A great wine selection and lovely service. Remember to call for a reservation as it gets pretty busy over the weekend.

I expected more for my money. It surprised me that there was little attention to detail. This was fine dining in food quality, but little else. Portion sizes are good, service was fine, wine glasses are cheap and not meant for $65+ bottles they sell. Just didn't feel like the overall experience was worth the price.

The service was slow but we were not in a hurry. I ordered the Pork Chops and they came over cooked but my potatoes were excellent. Out of the four meals, mine was the only one a little off. The wine prices were high even by NYC standards. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we suggested they might... More

I like the ambiance. Feels like it's been there for a long time. The waiters are well trained. The filet mignon was tender and tasty. Try mixing with the Pom martini.

I thought I might see a mobster there but in reality I found very good food. The dry aged rib eye as done perfectly. Broiled mushrooms a nice side. Good pours on the bourbon as well.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
