Fresh ingredients and creative cocktails. I had the Earl Grey martini. You may be skeptical, but it was delicious!

We had heard about this club and had to try it. For a weeknight it was quiet but still a few parties enjoying the atmosphere and food. The cocktails were very good. Service excellent and professional. Overall a nice place but perhaps a little too hyped up. One minor, but important note, the music did not match the vibe they... More

The place can get crowded - standing room only and not that much space to stand. OK cocktails but pricey. Seems to be a pretty happening place with a good feel.

Got stuck in a rainstorm shopping in Soho and read online Pegu had the best drinks in NYC. We said what the hell and popped in. I have no clue what I drank but they were pure magic. sublime and smooth. If you are in Soho this place should be an early evening must!

Good drinks, cool atmosphere--read, extra trendy. But all of SoHo is more trendy than any place should be. Still, I like this overly done and trying to be low key elevated drinking spot..

Went for a drink after work before meeting friends. It was pretty quiet, because it was early in the evening. The décor is great and would be a great spot for small groups. Bartender was a little standoffish but the drink was great nonetheless

This second floor space has a great laid-back vibe, good lighting, comfortable seating, very good service and a nice cocktail program. The Poquito Picante was my favorite beverage. A spicy spin on a margarita. Light fare is available. Drinks $12-16. Best for pre or post dinner.

I know it's a strange mix but it works. A late 19th century piece of the realm on Houston sounds bizarre but top mixologist Audrey Saunders and the army bar mix well. The Early Grey MarTEAni's slip down so well and the gin-gin mule and whiskey smash are personal favourites but take your pick off of the cocktail menu and... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
