Nice variety on menu. Excellent presentation, taste and service. Reasonably priced for theater district. Upbeat atmosphere but quiet enough to have a conversation.

We stopped here for a quick dinner before a Broadway show. The downstairs dining area was small and very crowded, but we were ushered to a small bar/dining area on the second floor. WE told our server that we had a curtain to catch. WE...More

Excellent choice for a delicious lunch prior to attending Hello Dolly. Fixed price brunch menu was reasonably priced ($25) with several options. Nesto, our waiter, didn't make us feel rushed yet made sure we left in time for the show. Bread basket was fabulous (asked...More

I've never eaten at the bar, so can't address comfort. My guess is that since you are dining solo, you will be able to get a seat at the bar. Linda

You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm and truly makes the customer feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible. Executive Chef Craig Cupani has created a contemporary American menu that sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.
