Guancina di vitello is my favorite. They have great risottos, changes depending the season and I have tried a few. Waiters are very attentive and after a day of shopping in Fifth Avenue, one can freely go and enjoy a meal and do request tables that over look Fifth Avenue. Reservation is suggested although they have tables by the bar... More

Four of us had dinner at Armani Ristorante last night. We had a lot of fun. The Italian Chamber of Commerce was having a big dinner meeting in one-half of the restaurant with speeches, etc. but the staff managed to serve us in their usual charming way and keep our dinner moving along without a hitch. The food is, of... More

Got there a little early for lunch. They do not seat until 1145. Finally convinced manager to give me a quiet round table. Food was delicious. Oddly the coffee was among the best cups I've ever head. Salad with asparagus was so delicious. Fish a bit overcooked. But a lovely atmosphere. A very fine place for lunch. Will go again... More

A friend was telling me about this great restaurant that he and his wife like, and said it was in the Armani Store on 5th Avenue. I had never heard of this place, but New York is filled with strange and unusual places. My friend said he'd like to take me, I was pleased and we found a mutually acceptable... More

Have been a regular and fan of Armani since it first opened. It's truly sad to see it descend to the depths of mediocrity, essentially because there appears to be a lack of management. The only saving grace is the few waiters yet to jump ship with everything down the tubes, who still provide solid service. On several prior visits... More

I just wanted a quiet lunch with excellent food. This restaurant did not disappoint. The Branzino was excellent. Do not go if you are really hungry as the portion was small. They also served four small confections at no additional price and and a very nice bread basket. Just off Fifth Avenue and a peaceful, elegant retreat.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
