We ate here 3 times over a week's stay (2 breakfasts and 1 late night). They were always nice even when the place was jammed. Very busy at breakfast. Everything we had was good, and the people watching was great! Highly recommend.

Just what we were looking for! Delicious diner food with excellent wait staff. The Yankee navy bean soup was exceptionally good. Salmon salad, roasted chicken, and grilled chicken sandwich that the 3 of us ordered were all great.

Regarding NY Luncheonette being open on Christmas Day, I have to admit I'm not sure. However, give them a call at (212) 838 0165 and get a quick answer. Sorry I wasn't very helpful.
