Visited here 4 times on our stay to new York. 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner. We were staying at the doubletree by hilton on lexington ave and it's just around the corner. Lovely service, nice menu. Breakfast menu better than the dinner menu in my opinion. If you're in the area give it a try.

What a better way to immerse yourself on the first day in New York City then to go to a local diner. They had a massive menu and the food was good. I had a Reuben and it was a nice as I have ever had. Fun place with lots of activity and busy! Good sign of a popular restaurant.

A nice small diner just off Lexington. There was a small line to get in, but they turn tables pretty fast. Typical breakfast fare at good prices for New York. Be forewarned though that the "Lumberjack" breakfasts are not as large as one would think. My 2 teen boys could have each eaten 2 of these supposedly lumberjack sized portions.... More

This is the classic Diner for early morning Sunday Breakfast. Eggs and Pancakes, Coffee and Orange juice. Eggs are perfect. I like this diner and the people there. Very busy place.

What do you want from an NYC diner? Good food. Fair prices. Good service. This is it. Bingo! Breakfast and lunch are especially good choices and the location is superb. Friendly staff and helpful speed of service.

The title says it all, this is the worst breakfast I've ever had in my life. We wanted a quick bite to eat and went there - I ordered the egg + potatoes, and at 6.50$ for 1 egg ( just 1 egg) - you'd expect something half decent but this was inedible. Save yourself. Don't go.

We were told about this restaurant on our first day at the Waldorf Astoria. It is literally round the corner from the hotel. The place is always busy and queues form at busier times. We ended up having breakfast here every day. The staff were great, the eggs cooked to perfection and the service great. Highly recommended for breakfast -... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
