On a previous visit to Balaboosta, I was impressed with the food but put off by the noise and indifferent service. I was pleased to see that - perhaps because of the early hour - it is possible to enjoy a pleasant dinner there and...More

Made reservations and got a lovely table. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Loved the cozy lighting and casual ambience. We ordered the crispy cauliflower, burrata and Israeli Street fair as appetizers!!! Each one was so flavorful and delicious! Especially the cauliflower- never had it...More

The chicken under a brick was tasty and the Israeli hostess was great. The rest of the dinner was average. Cosy small casual place.

Nice decoration with a mix of typical brasserie and library shelves. The service is friendly with a mix of real waiter and boss boys dropping plates on the table when ready. The food is good with a strong inspiration of Mediterranean flavors. Cauliflower and hummus...More

Great hummus, za'atar pita, patatas, kale and broccoli, cauliflower and eggplant. I did prefer the menu at the sister restauarant Bar Bolonat, but both are highly recommended.

The food here is to die for, and the service is superb. No matter what entree you get, be sure to have the crispy cauliflower as an appetizer. The addition of currants and pine nuts sounds unusual, but it is wonderful. Also be sure to...More

popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of
the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry,
