We stopped in for lunch and got some nachos and a burger. The food was good. The wait staff were slow. We were the only people in there at that time except for a couple at the bar.

Good place for a burger, consistent quality, and friendly staff. My go-to place when I've flown across the country and need a simple meal. Salads are fresh, and wines are decent. Be sure to request your specific meat temps (med, med-rare, etc.)....otherwise you might get well done by default...but that's easy to do. Good place to watch sports at the... More

Nice ambiance, good service. Burger patty to thin and well done, not my thing! But a nice place, music not to loud. Overall an OK place!

Stopped in front of her by accident and decided to give this place a try. The food and staff were amazing! The burgers were amazing, we were too full to try the shakes, which I regret.

Come here for lunch every so often with a client who wants a more casual setting for lunch. Always able to get a table, whether upstairs or downstairs. They have so many great burgers to choose from, but I prefer the simple Bill's burger. Classic fries and sweet potato fries are great. Good selection of beer on tap, and lot... More

We went here again because it was pouring rain and it is right across from the hotel. Wish I'd gone to the deli. Food is OK. But it is SO LOUD in there we couldn't talk. Asked to have the speaker near us turned down. That wasn't possible ( ha ha) apparently. We moved around and found a table further... More

We came across this restaurant one night while searching for a sit-down restaurant within walking distance to our hotel after a long day of sight-seeing. Given the other restaurants in Rockefeller Center, we were expecting this place to be a little on the pricey side, however the prices were very reasonable, especially with happy hour. The service was great and... More

Had a cheeseburger to go and fries. Really no better than McDonald's and that would have been a lot cheaper. There are many good local places where you can get a real good burger with quality beef for the same price. Probably my last time here unless they upgrade their beef. Fries okay, but again, McDonald's fries are so much... More

Went there for burgers, as the name says. And decided to get a salad too. The Cobb salad was very good. But the Bills burger was below average. Really taste like an Macdonald's cheeseburger. In other words, tasted like cardboard. The meat was cold and tasteless with a dry melted cheese that probably left the grille several minutes before was... More

Atmosphere was nice. But very limited menu. Very small burgers and salads. We ordered and the meal was literally there in 5 minutes. They wanted to turn the tables so quick. Too quick in fact. Men's room was a single private lavatory in the main aisle by the bar. Who ever got seated there had to endure the lines of... More

Practice makes perfect...and burgers are no exception. The Bill’s burger evolved from countless tastings, recipes and lots of burger love. The result is a blend of three meats, smashed and cooked on a flattop griddle, served in an all-American seeded bun. It’s your reliable, made-to-order hamburger, plain and simple. While Bill’s flagship location in NYC’s Meatpacking District opened in 2009 as a small neighborhood joint, it quickly turned heads across the city and was followed by a 400-seat space at Rockefeller Center, the biggest standalone burger joint in the country, and a location ‘down the shore’ at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. Regardless of size or stature, every burger served is made fresh daily. Grab a seat at the bar and select from a long list of craft brews. Bill’s has got some sweet treats, too, from hand-dipped milkshakes to decadent cupcakes.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
