This place came recommended by our hotel. I loved the decor & feel of the place. The staff were friendly. The menu was great and had a lot of choice. we paid on average $70 for breakfast with tip. We thought that was expensive but is it for New York? Great food quality.

Cozy, clean, nicely decorated eatery that serves some great breakfast selections. We are out-of-towners who have made this our go-to place for breakfast. The portions are large and we learned that sharing one of the breakfast specials was actually enough for 2 people. Definitely try the breakfast sausage - the best I have ever had. Good service, great coffee and... More

Found this cafe as our friends we're staying at the Marcel on Gramercy. What a great find! Lovely little place that often had queues out of the door! Breakfast was excellent and so we're lunch menus. My husband is celiac and they catered for him too. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Service great and so... More

Love going here for an early breakfast on weekdays. Brunch on the weekends is consistently good, it gets crowded so go early if possible. Full bar for drinks. Attentive staff.

We went to the Bluebell for a Sunday morning breakfast recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the most part they have fairly standard breakfast fare, but it was done very well. The fact that they do not take reservations is both a pro and a con. Obviously annoying that you can't plan ahead and have to wait in line, but... More

I had the eggs Benedict (fantastic). Based on what my friends ordered, it doesn't look like you cannot go wrong here. Most plates come with their potatoes which are not to be missed.

Blue Bell Café offers “Home Cooking” in the big city. The Blue Awning welcomes you into it’s exposed brick walls, with it’s wooden tables and oddly matched dishes, cups and saucers like walking into your grandmothers kitchen. The food is just as “homey”. Eggs with APPLEWOOD bacon, Biscuits and Gravy, and Potatoes. Buttermilk Pancakes and Oatmeal. Special Brunch options like... More
