We got there early, so we didn't have to wait, but the place was 2/3 full even around 5 p.m. We sat at a tiny table -- it's a small place, so all the tables are tiny, and the other guests are quite close by,...More

We had to wait almost an hour on a Saturday morning and once given a table we were huddled onto a small table next to the door on a cold November morning...but it was worth the wait. The waffle sandwich is to die for, and...More

Got iMmediate seating at 9 am. Ordered two cappuccinos, a scone(whole wheat currant was what they had) and a Croque Madame (based on what other reviews said). Was very good! The table and chairs were tiny as were the forks, plates and water glasses. Cramped,...More

What a lovely place. We sat at the bar and the staff was very friendly and attentive (and incredibly busy and efficient). We split the almond croissant and the walnut cranberry toast which were both delicious. They have a nice selection of organic wines. The...More

On a very rainy Sunday morning in late October, we waited outside the door of Buvette under umbrellas. When we were seated, the servers were friendly and professional and did not rush us. The food. The food. Delicious. We ordered a beet salad to share,...More

Delicious small plates shared amongst us. Anchovies on toast, artichoke, leeks in mustard. Coq au vin and cassoulet, sweet rich mousse. Small tables, little wooden stools. The food will transport you. A lovely boite in the west village.

Had breakfast here. The eggs with salmon were tasty but service kind of slow. The waffles looked great. Nice downtown ambience.

We waited about 45mis to an 1hour for brunch on Sunday for a table for two but weren't disappointed with the food once we were finally seated. The Waffles, Crepes, and Croque Madame were delicious - as was the coffee, Bloody Mary and Mimosas. The...More

One of my favorite places in NYC! Cant wait to go back. Well worth the wait. Gorgeous bistro, food to die for, great attentive service. Loved & treasured every minute there. A little Paris in the heart of New York. ❤❤❤will be back

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

You would probably have to wait just a few minutes because they open at 8am. Anyway, it's worth the wait!
