After three days of over-indulgence we wanted something inexpensive, quick, that wasn't a fast food chain. We found this place on the edge of Central Park. I got the Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich and it was tasty the lettuce was fresh and crunchy and the chicken was fried yet not dry. The wife got the roast beef with Brie and... More

Near Central Park went in based on previous reviews. Had a roast beef, Brie, and cucumber sandwich. It was hearty, fresh, and tasty-all for 7.95. Simple meals, very casual environment. I will be back for breakfast...

We stopped into Angela's over MLK weekend because it was on the way from the park to our hotel and it was a great decision! They have a huge variety of hot/cold sandwiches and burgers, as well as an all day breakfast sandwich. The prices are very reasonable- we paid about $16.00 for 2 large, hot subs. Our sandwiches were... More

Little place you would never notice but should! We took a carriage ride in Central Park and it was cold so we got hot cocoa at Angela's. One of the best hot cocoa's we have ever had. Price reasonable located right on 6th avenue just outside of Central Park south.

Having recently returned from a trip to New York with family and friends, we had been told that this place was good to eat by friends who have been to NYC over 15 times. How right they were, we returned every day for either breakfast or lunch !! It is very conveniently located for Central Park and not only was... More

We came across Angela's Sandwich Shop whilst on the way to Central Park. The food was great being freshly prepared, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice sitting with the locals and hearing them talk about the game etc. Its just a shame it wasn't closer to our hotel otherwise we would... More

We walked in the deli for a small breakfast without any high expectancy. Basic facility's but clean and all food fresh prepared and tasty (we had pancakes, oatmeal and a steak sandwich). (Still) resaonable priced. A clear recommendation

Sets you up for the day & great price too. A few tables in there and a lot of locals too. Had a great omelette (loads of choice), tasty potatoes and bagel with bacon on the side. Nice coffee too. Easy to find just round corner from main road opposite the park. Casual breakfast. But proper good eat. Friendly staff.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
