Wife and I visiting daughter in NYC - stopped in for a late lunch. "Cheap" by NYC standards, but not cheap: $34 for the three of us. Very good burgers and fries. If you are counting calories, pass this place by.

It wasn't worth to line up I think. It's so common buger but with butter bun. They offered too tiny buger,... More

They are so busy and go through product so fast, it would be impossible for them to not make fresh food. It's a burger place, a milkshake place, and a hot dog place all in one. It gets busy though so be prepared for lines. There are a few locations in New York, but after speaking with some locals, it... More

Shake Shack is the east coast version of In-N-Out Burger. It's the best burger in NYC for the $$$. I haven't been to Shake Shack for a few years. September 18 is national cheeseburger day, so we decided to go and celebrate w/ a Shack Burger! I had the Double SmokeShack and will be sure to return for another in... More

We’ve been hearing about the legendary “Shake shack” for a while and it did not disappoint. Ordered a Shackstack which contains a beef patty and a fried portabella mushroom (filled with cheese!). The burger was of upmost quality and the mushroom hit the spot! A winner!

Loved having a fast food experience with beer. Smokeshack was lovely - just the right size and the cheese fries felt very naughty, but nice! Beer was tasty too!

I've had Shake Shack in my hometown of Philly, but it's actually a New York product. The burgers and fries are excellent, and this particular restaurant has outdoor seating. It fills up easily, but what do you expect in a city this big?

This was a nice lunch. The burgers were great. The waiter even refilled our drinks. The only problem was the bathroom smells like urine.

Thank Aaron H

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
