This was our first visit here since the reconfiguration from the 'Cellar' and to be honest, was a complete disappointment. They have tried to upscale it, but it misses everything that was right about the Cellar, a bit like the rest of the store! In no rush to return

2 years ago the food options downstairs were excellent. This time it was a bunch of overpriced "modern" fast food options. None of which appealed to us this time. But, picked up a sandwich and a salad that had the worst dressing ever. Bread wasn't fresh at all. Lady on cash till was very unfriendly. Tables were very cheap and... More

After stroll in the city and shopping in the Macy’s we searched a place for a dinner. Short check in the store food directory and Stella 34 Trattoria name looks somehow familiar – yes, no mistake, we saw this name in the promotion booklet as a participant of the “New York city restaurant week”. Good sign! Worth a try. We... More

I was there for lunch with a friend and it had a great atmosphere where we could enjoy our food and talk. I had the beet salad and it was very flavourful and fresh. The service was the best I had on my trip.

A real disgrace. Tables that wobbled! Substandard appearance all around. Overpriced food..! Skip it, go to McDonalds!

A perfect place for a department store cafeteria. Definitely had a lot of choices, a bit overpriced for the quality of food. Seating is next to impossible as you have people using it as a rest stop and bag drop while their families shop. And the cafe workers were rude and unfriendly, with no concept of customer service. All in... More

This place is in the basement of Macy's on 34th Street. We were looking for dessert and coffee and settled for bottled water and a stale cookie. The tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day and the floor was littered. Disgusting for a food court.

Had Lucy at Cucina & co yesterday. It is very much like a canteen but the choice is very good. You can help yourself to salad and the choice is amazing ( I dare anyone not to find something they like).there is also a choice of hot food which is served for you, ranging from pizza to chilli, and pasta... Great handy place to eat after a hard day's shopping. Love the glass noodle with calamari. Great selection of choices.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
