We stumbled upon this gem by chance, and left as huge fans! The whole experience was special, from the outstanding service to the variety of flavored packed into the various tortillas.

This is the first place we go when visiting the city to get their amazing guacamole and tacos. They are always quick and courteous.

We stopped in while shopping in NoLita. Great break. Margaritas were excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Guacamole and fried fish tacos were delicious. Would go again.

Don't be fooled by this hidden treasure, on arrival you're' unsure what you going to get, but once you walk through the Mexican curtain at the doorway, the quirky combi, diner vibe gets you super excited! We ordered some Mexican beers, and the most delicious snacks, the service was awesome and when I ever find myself back in NY I... More

If you know your Mexican food you would not want to dine at this place. If you are not fussed about what you eat and are new to Mexican cuisine then it might be a good start. They don't have more than 15 dishes on the menu so are clearly lacking in variety. Portions are small for what you pay... More

Good options, very yummy. Especially the guacamole with chips and the mini tacos. Disappointing that there are no desserts.

Really cool spot and excellent food. Definitely worth a stop while in NY One downside. Only 2 single bathrooms for a rather large restaurant. The wait was brutal. Would have been 5 stars if not for that

Apart from the nice decor and the cozy environment , the food was very expensive and nothing special . Very salty guacamole and nachos , nothing interesting in the taste of tacos ( especially the one with the pork was very unsuccessful) and the margaritas just ok but expensive . Overall for 2 margaritas , 1 guacamole and 5 tacos... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
