An intimate, rustic French restaurant with provincial style menu and excellent wine pairings. For entree, The French onion soup was a cheesy, delicious treat. Perfect. The beef bourguignon was brilliantly rich. Be sure to soak it up with bread. The cheese selections are wonderful to...More

My daughter and I enjoyed an early dinner Friday evening. Excellent charcuterie and cheese board. French onion soup was so-so. Would go again...as with many restaurants in NYC, tables very close together.

Recommend reservations unless you are willing to wait. You can also brush up or speak French with the staff. You gotta go.

I booked in months in advance as I knew Halloween would be busy. It was our 8th wedding anniversary. Beautiful atmosphere, food, wine, service and very busy. Wonderful experience.

We found this restaurant via trip advisor, searching for a place close by. We lucked out. Great flavors (steak tartar was delicious, as were the escargots). We also ordered the cheese board, with a mix of Spanish, French and Vermont cheeses - all fantastic. The...More

This place did not disappoint for our first dinner in NYC. We were a bit rushed with our dinner as we had plans but the pork chop was the best I have ever had and the wine flight was perfect. Service was attentive but not...More

Good for a real French fare around Washington Square. A small selection of standard French light meals in a quaint surrounding.

Introduced to this place by an NYC foodie and returned here 3 times during my 10 day stay. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service is always perfect. The wine flights for $12 are a great way to start the evening (or late afternoon) accompanied...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
